Twelve a.m.

Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu, a couple in life and at work, have designed from their headquarters in Shanghai an integrated furniture system for the night area, conciliating restorative sleep.

The bed, typically oriental in simplicity and essentiality, is characterized by the use of wood as the main material, matched with metal and soft fabrics or leathers. The headboard, high and enveloping, seems to welcome the surface of the bed with open arms. The interior of the headboard is lined with cozy fabrics or monochrome leathers and supports a comfortable cushion in the center that serves as a headrest.

The cushion is attached to the headboard with two saddle leather straps in different colors, demonstrating the designers’ undoubted attention to detail. The exterior wooden sides of the headboard are furnished with two small circular hanging trays, serving as a bedside. At the back, when the bed is placed in the center of the room, it is possible to equip Twelve A.M. with a small cantilevered shelf.
